affney Posted April 15, 2007 Share Posted April 15, 2007 hi guys started getting a slight knocking noise from under the car at the back end lifted both sides up no play as in usual bearing play left right up down but when i spin the drivers side wheel there is a knocking coming from the diff or drive shaft cant quite place it any ideas has anyone else had this. also revving high about 1500 to 1900 does it just need a tune up? cheers in advance Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The last thread I read with knocking noise from the rear where the owner thought it was a drive/prop/diff problem, was down to a brake caliper that was catching on a lip on the rear discs, are your rear discs heavily lipped?
