jazz1
im deffinatly taking out my insurance with sky(supe), would they offer a second policy at a discount for my nissan micra? cheapest iv been quoted without using any ncb on this car is 541 for a ten month poilicy and 594 for 12 months. Other companies have quoted 900+. I have to use my 2 years ncb on my supra with sky and also i have 3 points on my license
grahamc
that seems a lot for a micra...

grahamc
my 1.2l clio was cheaper than that...with no NCB. Have you tried A-plan, for both cars? Definitely taking the piss...

DaveK
If you have a daily car, isn't it cheaper to put the Supra on a limited mileage classic policy and use your NCD on the micra? My 911 only costs me about £400 a year I think, and that has no NCD because it's all on the Supra (although I'm obviously 100 years old compared to you). jazz1
yea but i did do limited mileage with sky on the supe
Glosphil
OMG... thats rediculous, My supra is 600 to insure, my porsche is 540 and my Astra 2.0 Diesel is wait for it.... 140 quid. Try Keith Michaels, my broker in London. Works for me !
DaveK
yea but i did do limited mileage with sky on the supe Most limited mileage (classic) policies don't use NCD. I have not tried Sky - but there are many companies I could insure the 911 with, and none of them want NCD. They just want the details of the car, and they have a max. mileage on the policy. If you are on a limited mileage policy but are using your NCD on it, you seem to have the worst of both worlds.

markjodrell
Have u tried Admiral , I have a multi car policy , 2 cars at the moment will be 3 very soon, u can put up to 5 cars on it. Worked out about £320 f/c for the Supra TT, £300 for the Sri Vectra and they have quoted me £410 for my 17 year old daughter , whos just passed her test, on a Ford KA (in my name) that is cheap

garetheves
Im with Sky and had a similar prob. Using all my NCB on the supra but spoke to Jae and he gave me the equivalent of a 4 years NCB on my other car if i took both policies out with him. Dropped the price of the second car from 700 to 400.

Paul
You guys need to ask for a 'mirror' policy I know Bell do them because I'm with them, I've got fully comp with protected ncb on my Supra and my second car, Toyota 4Runner. The 4Runner is about £240 comp (3l Turbo version) and the Supra is around the £300 mark:d They will honour the no claims on the first car and apply it to the second car also, so all this talk about using your no claims already for the Supra is wrong! jazz1
yea but i have 3 points for driving without car due to attention code cd10, i tryed everywhere they quoted 900+ on my micra how stupid even my renewal quote was more with my 2 years ncb added, sky done it for 650 without using my 2 years ncb
