Sheefa
Damn, Got my statements through the other day for the last 6 years and I was charged a total of £165 in charges over that period despite being at uni! That's actually very disappointing as I was hoping for a good £500! Looks like I'm better at managing my money than I thought Anyone else had any recent successes with this guys? I understand it's coming to a closure soon correct? Greg

Sheefa
Did you have a student account Greg? They are pretty good with their charges. Yeah mate - that's the trouble. I remember years back, like 8 or so when I was at college, I used to get charged around £40 for going over. These referral charges are sadly only a tenner each time! Oh well, good at the time, annoying now!

jase_93tt
Not sure how all this bank charge claiming works. If a bank has charged someone for going overdrawn on their account, how come its the banks fault ? Has the bank charged more than once for the same overdrawn period or something ? Basically, they are overcharging. By law you are not allowed to make money on fines. £30 for going overdrawn and sending one letter can be deemed to be over-estimating. RobDogg
Think I have been missing something here! Can someone please explain this to me in simpleton terms or tell me where I can find info out. I am getting quite excited at the prospect of bending Barclays over, pulling their pants down and giving them a brutal rogering for a change! Charlotte
There's another thread somewhere about the whole thing. Search for 'bank charges'.
