Pixelfill Posted April 12, 2007 Author Share Posted April 12, 2007 just read the section on proof of purchase: Proof of payment may be provided in the form of a photocopy of the front and back of a postal order, receipt, banker's draft, personal cheque, etc how many people photocopy their cheques before sending them?? michael Posted April 13, 2007 Share Posted April 13, 2007 I went through it for a set of £80 speakers, long-winded, frustrating and fairly pointless given the £15 I eventually got once eBay ruled in my favour. The seller wouldn't refund me until he had successfully claimed back from Royal Mail (taking several weeks). I won the Paypal dispute but didn't get a refund from them as I hadn't posted the parcel back recorded delivery (you *must* have a tracking number). I eventually got a refund from the seller. Second time I bought a memory card that went faulty after a week. Seller agreed to refund me, I posted the card back then never received the refund. Paypal didn't get a reply from the seller after 10 days, so they refunded me the full amount (I assume from the seller's account). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
sooper-supra Posted April 13, 2007 Share Posted April 13, 2007 basically if they cant provide tracking then you will get your money back paypal favours the buyer... i dislike paypal as after selling a laptop for £400 the buyer then claimed their money back.. however i had transferred money to the bank in time so now the paypal account is in the "red" no longer can use now ...
