i want to take my spats off, the screws come off fine but they are stuck to the body of the car, any techniques on how to remove then without breaking? also once removed will there be nasty marks on the bodywork?

if you use a razor blade and pull the spat away carefully it'll stretch the bonding strip enough for you to cut it away with the blade.

you'll be left with a lot of residue on the paintwork but i just used some sticky stuff remover, a rough cloth, a razor blade and a lot of patience on mine.

good luck!

Ide use a plastic spatula of some kind, you dont want to scratch the paint! Keep razor blades away from the car...

Ide use my caramel wheel (A attachment to a power drill) It will rub off the old foam and glue... Then T Cut and Wax...

Job done... No damage :)
