Go-Karting Buckmore Park

Last time i went, i got to the last race, on the last lap i was about to take 2nd, and he cut in front of me on one of the last corners (the fast one as you approach the bottom) and went into the barriers at about 40mph! Ouch, really hurt my hand too.

Guess what im trying to say is be careful of people cutting in front of you, as it will hurt :)

Going here tonight, anyone been or got any tips??

not been there but remember that your tyres will be cold when you start, I used to work at a kart track for a few years and everyone would go flat out to the first bend and spin off, you have got to get your tyres as warm as possible and as quickly as possible to go flat out but the first few bends don't go too quick, when coming up to the start line do a bit of full throttle and wiggling the tail about (depends how confident you feel doing that) kinda like how the F1 drivers do it, it does help :)

How was the track now, as think they made a few changes since I went about 4 years ago, but a brilliant track, long track, plenty of speed, loads of over-taking... would definately recommend this track to anyone wanting to go karting, know it is a distance, but definately worth it..

Just back and was a great little session. You have the choice of Pro karts that go 70mph or Thuinder Karts that go even faster. We used the slower Pro karts and I was the fastest out of all the Pro karts and beat about 4 of the faster karts out there! Next time will try the faster karts see if i can win it :):)
