His is a lovely motor. Depends if you want he standard look or not.

Mine is 1 of only 2 known in the country with the full original Trial kit.

Low mileage

2 grands worth of rims and tyres, £1500 of suspension, £500 leather seats blah blah blah.....

Anyway, you pays your money you makes your choice....

Ive has auto and manual supras now and my preference is manual, but it's a personal thing, you just have to try both and see what you prefer.

when i got my 1st supe i tried both auto & man.found the man 2b very notchy &6th had little point other than another gear change, but that woz my 1st choice.then tried a couple of autos & had one still cant help wondering if they were just not good examples.& i missed out on something.

Never tried the auto, but do recall Tiff Needel saying that he found the Getrag gearbox very notchy and a weak point of the car... but guess its more sporty, and perhaps easy and more predictable with putting the power down.

well i test drove the manual and the auto when i first got my supe, and decided on the auto, one reason was because i liked to keep both hands on the wheel when no 2 tubbie came online, after a couple of years i bought my boy a manual, and found i was driving that more than mine, i have just had mine converted to manual and there,s no looking back for me i love it;)

notchy but bomb proof...thats what i like about it,the box feels so strong,my gti-r had nice soft smooth changes.....and i rebuilt it 2 times in 12 months;) ...Dannys car though looks a fantastic buy in my book, the kind of car you could buy and not mess about with bodykits and paintwork, then after 12 month when ya after a little bit more, you got the rest of that 16k to get more horses;)
