I knew about this yesterday tea time as I got an unexpected call from Tom. He needed the phone number for Envy and somehow knew I'd be on-line!!:innocent:

Sounds like a driveshaft problem but I feel really sorry for you Tom. That car is a wonderful machine and you just seem to be having a bit of bad luck.

Easy for me to say but I think if you get rid without really thinking about it you might regret it. Look at all the attention it got on Monday!!;)

Hi all. UPDATE

The "Doughnut" that connects the prop to the Body work before going in to the diff shattered on the way home.

Whist driving the car was fine but as soon as I braked or took foot of the gas it made a horrible loud grinding noise. I pulled over at called a recovery truck.

To recover the wide, long Aristo was a nightmare, even to the point that using the winch fucked my rear bumper completely, but it was either that or leave the car on a back country road until it could be repaired.

Will try to get pictures to post for you, but it is looking bad.

TBH I'm still pissed off and if some one comes in with a decent off they can have the car. If I was to break the Aristo it woul;d easily be worth £10k in parts alone, so offers ?
