tomcat
ok well its a soarer really i have now put cloth supra seats in, stripped the rear and put a 10" sub in the shelf. the sub isnt connected yet i have to decide where to put the amp and wire it all up yet. oh and also tinted windows done by http://www.autoasylum.co.uk i have to clean and polish the rear up yet and not sure if ill leave the mdf under the sub as it is or cover it up yet, might leave it to add to the stripped effect lol, maybe paint it white i dunno. also going to colour code the other interior bits at the front to match seats. getting a roll cage made up soon, and once i get carbon fibre door cards ill think about stripping the front also. aj
Tom
Cool, I'll be doing a project like this later this year, can you tell me if yours was a manual from factory? and what would be on the vin plate to confirm that? I've been looking at post 95's black soarers as it looks like it came with a black dash rather than the manky cream

carl0s
"Trans axle: r154" means it has the 5spd manual R154 gearbox, as found in the mk3 Supra.

Tom
Oh sorry just meant it was a manual from factory, I had heard myths that all the manuals were swaps, you've confirmed that they are not sticking with the 1jz and going for a small single?
