Another Brake Problem

A list of symptoms for the supra doctors out there;

Squealing from the front right brakes - previously established I may need to add coper grease to shim plates.

On occasion (much more frequently now) when steering right, no braking, also get a squeal.

On occasion, the wheel feels like it rumbles, not always on braking.

Most importantly, the brakes smell of burnt 'rubber' and have also notices the calipers and disc to emmit smoke they have got that hot.

The pads and disk look fine, no uneven wearing as far as I can see.

Someone said one or more of the pistons may be sticking, sound feasible?

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

:) Brakes, sorry!

Is it worth stripping the caliper down and working the pistons with plenty of lube???

Chances are you'll either have knackered seals, pitted pistons or a sticky pin or two, if you are going to take it apart to lube it you might as well do a refurb at the same time. Kits are available for relatively sane money.
