First off if in wrong section please move, Ta muchly. :)

With chrome wheels is there anything that I can use to protect them from british weather? ie protective solutions and if so whats best? or apart from washing them more than once a week, or have a spare set for winter.

Any advice or help on this guys. I have tried to search but unless am using wrong buzz words. :search:

Cheers

Something like a proper wheel sealant and some polish will give you a head start but you will need to stay on top of it to ensure that the brake dust doesn't get a chance to settle.

ARGH do I take the risk!!!!!!!!!! I have a spare set of wheel that could be used for winter use. Oh what to do!!

I used the same waxes and sealants that i put on my cars paintwork.

Klasse sealant glaze followed by p21 s carnauba wax. It is a bit expensive to buy just for your wheels so i would go with a wheel sealant "poorboys" is good. (im pretty sure Peter richards stocks this) You just want to stop salt and brake dust settling on the surface so need a good barrier which the wheel sealant will provide.
