Scarface GTti
Done a search on chassis numbers but can`t find what i need. I`m guessing that there might be a way of finding what model my car is through its chassis number. I know it won`t be a GZ but it could be anything after that. Scarface GTti
Brilliant, i now know that it`s the original colour, that it`s an RZ and that it has an LSD. Nice to have an electric drivers seat, i just wish i had the active spoiler.
merckx
Nice to have an electric drivers seat, i just wish i had the active spoiler Why? Unless you can store the seat position for different drivers I think electric seats are totally pointless! Cannot really say I miss having an active spoiler! merckx
I appreciate that it helps high speed stability but a fixed front spoiler that is low enough will do the same .
Scarface GTti
When you`re partially disabled an electric seat is a lot easier than trying to bend down and push the seat back when your missus has just driven it with her nose against the inside of the windscreen. Suprash
I have to admit, when me and Clair swap between the NA, it is annoying that they dont have memory, the constant back and forth takes time before I can even get in it.......
Bobbeh
But you can move and position the seat manually too, so no need for the messing with the electrics.. its nice to have that and the spolier, because they are hehe

High speed stability is affected Just for a matter of interest, I know that the spoiler activates at about 60 mph. At what speed can you actually feel the difference in stability? Timwildman
Errr above legal, the steering has more weight, and the front feels more planted. I notice the diffrence when lane changing on the motorways etc.

dangerous brain
Well as far as I could ascertain the only way to manually move that drivers seat is with a ratchet on one of the drive ends which can risk stripping the motor drives plastic teeth off.
