mikeyb10supra
Looks ok to me, although I would enclose the top a little more to shut it off completely

JohnA
Now make sure you seal it up and give it a cold air feed as the only way to breathe. The supra's underbonnet temps are easily 30-40C higher than ambient.

It doesn't look like the stock air box would fit over any more, and I don't have it anyway...

You would have to squash it a little though. Then just have it mounted starting somewhere behind the bumper pointing forward.

My brother and I did something similar on the Skyline, however not sure how effective it is
couv3z
thats a square intake! can't you get a replacement light lens which is a air scoop?
Tricky-Ricky
Since you have the std air intake fitted, all you need to do is add a little more shielding around the filter and it should be fine, just for reference i fitted the std air intake to my induction (Apexi + all round heat shield) and the intake temps went from 30-40 deg down to ambient when over 40 mph.
