edge
Ok so my symptoms as i described in another thread were as follows - Get 0.7 on T1 and just before T2 comes in it drops by about 0.2 bar then all is fine after. Sometimes after a little blast if left on idle i blip the throttle and get a cloud of blue smoke. But i have found this. The pipes are all a little split near the ends and one hole is nearly as big as the exhaust itself. Above - is this the thing that controls when the turbos come online? Splits and big bore
Soop Dogg
Didn't see the other thread you refer to, so am not sure if I fully understand all the symptoms you might be experiencing, but the blue smoke is likely to be valve stem oil seals if you're getting it after letting it idle for a while. Get those hoses back on - you have 2 that have come off there. The one you've obviously spotted as you're holding onto it, and one has come off the VSV in the background also. Guru
Yes those are the pipes that need to be connected 100% for the tubbies to come online properly Replace it if it has a split mate
edge
Ok so ive replaced the pipes and no1 has stopped dropping a bit of boost before no2 tubbie. Still feels a bit rough though, im think maybe the O2 sensor on the down pipe clogged/knackered. On tickover i get a bit of blue smoke when i blip the throttle but not as much as it was and still no smoke at all on start up.
