the picture in this thread is typical of most covers i've had and seen and i think there might be quite a bit of interest in a custom material replacement.

 

must be quite simple (cheap:D ) to do i'd imagine?.........

i reckon a Gibson and thingie one would look good though, don't you? If you had the material doubled over then you could even possibly have a logo on the underside as well, for those boot up look at my ICE posers amongst us (now i am taking the p*ss:D )

and you would have to find a way to re-attach the hooks at the top. But, if they have a rivet type machine then it's not a problem OR add some new style hooks.

 

The cover is extended all the time, even when the boot is shut, it's just the cord inside the boot plastic liner (underside of hatch) that extend when the boot hatch rises.

I have just spoken to vince, He said about £50 to £70, depending on what material is used and how long it takes

 

It would be best to make one first to see whats involved

 

It would be better made from alcantara because it comes in 1M wide rolls and not cow shaped
