bolarbag
I've always thought about that with my roll cage, but I guess once its welded in the benefits should outweigh the cons Its alright looking...kinda looks unfinished for some reason...bit of a let down for me in comparison to the M5 and M6...their beasts! Havard
I am becoming a big fan of the BMW's but those pictures don't do the M3 any favours... I nice gunmetal metallic and a shineee set of alloys would make it look mint. I have considered getting one recently but they are quite understated and are not really ahead turner compared to the Supra! H.
Bobbeh
Prefer the look of the current one.

Rickeh
I think it looks ace. Why does it say they've ditched the V6 though? I thought they were inline 6's.
Chiefgroover
Might keep up with a decent BPU though.

I've seen black, dark blue, silver and gunmetal and they all look awful. I think this thing will be a bit of a weapon though.
Cable
I was starting to like the newer BMW's more lately but I really really don't like the look of that.
toyotasuprauk
I do like the look of the newer shape BMW's and thats quite nice, but not nice enough for me to buy if I could afford it.

DaveK
I always like the idea of an M3 - all that power without turbos - but the problem is they just look like any other saloon. Dull. I nice gunmetal metallic and a shineee set of alloys would make it look mint. I'm really not convinced by some of your styling tips! Didn't you suggest adding neon lights to your Supra once? mattanna
Not as quick as i thought found this on 4car, having said that it is not slow?? The BMW M3 coupe is back, the fourth-generation model going on sale in the UK in September. Recently seen in near-production concept form at the Geneva Motor Show, it shares much of its sheet metal with the standard 3-series Coupe, but has been sported up with a new domed bonnet with air intakes, a unique front grille and valance for improved air intake, side 'gills' in the front wings, more aerodynamic door mirrors, a rear diffuser, twin exhaust tailpipes, a bootlid lip spoiler and 19" double-spoke alloy wheels. Power comes from a 420bhp 4.0-litre V8, which redlines at 8,400rpm; peak torque is 295lb-ft at 3,900rpm, although 85% of that torque is still available at 6,500rpm. A six-speed manual gearbox with variable differential is fitted; the differential can apportion up to 100% of the power to the wheel with the most grip Topline figures are 155mph, 0-60mph in 4.8 seconds and 22.8mpg. The fuel economy - an 8% improvement over that of the outgoing M3 - is enhanced by the M3's lighter weight (a carbon fibre roof panel that also lowers the car's centre of gravity and aluminium suspension components) and brake energy regeneration, whereby the alternator charges the battery with energy otherwise lost under deceleration. Like the M5 and M6, the M3 Coupe has the MDrive button for variable power outputs and selectable settings for the electronic damper control, traction control, power steering assistance and engine control mapping. More details - and pricing - will be announced nearer to launch.
Todd
Like the M5 and M6, the M3 Coupe has the MDrive button for variable power outputs As clarkson said about the CSL, "Why, why not make it fast all the time?" Have to agree.
R Black
I think its ok, but prefer the previous one as it looks much more aggresive.
