Kittyclaws
As the title states, we have had a bad time lately, mostly due to money matters etc. plus looks like the wife will Be made redundant, so this is going to hit us hard with mortgage etc. so the work we had planned on the house has been pushed further into the future, and as for getting a Supra (which would come after work on house) that is way in the distant future. To say I'm gutted would be an understatement, but such is life. My membership is due this month, so because of recent events, I think I best let it run out as I can't see me getting a Supra within the next 3 years. But as soon as I have the funds to get one, I will be back
Stonkin
keep your chin up mate. Everyone has crappy times, its the ones that get through em and can keep smiling along the way which will come out a better person at the end.
Mike
Yep, we had the same a few years back and it felt like the end of the world at the time.. but a few weeks later it had sorted itself out and turned out to be a blessing in disguise... as above.. keep your chin up, stay positive and good things will happen
grahamc
Where in west sussex are you?? What does your wife do?? My company is always looking for staff... Would be happy to put her CV forward...
Chewie
Call me Jonah. I've been made redundent twice and my current employer is closing down the UK site. But everytime I've ended with a better job with more money, better terms etc. Ironically the next redundency package will pay off my mortgage. And the phone hasn't stopped ringing from recruitment agencies. You'll get that Supra and that extension. Good luck!

Havard
Sorry to hear that Satnav. I wouldn't stop your membership though. For the sake of a tenner you can obtain a world of advice and experiences and we also have the ability to make people giggle which you can't really put a price on!! It doesn't matter whether you have a Supra or not in my eyes, it's the interest and the appreciation of the car that counts!! I really hope things improve for you mate..... H. Kranz
and as for getting a Supra (which would come after work on house) that is way in the distant future. I thought you already had a white one???? parked just off the seafront on King George Rd or something??? Or am I getting confused?? Chin up chap! Things happen for a reason.... fate and all that. Normally sunshine follows a storm, so keep positive as it will all work out fine in the end
Supragal
I know that feeling. Stick with it. Is there a redundancy package? If so then it will help with the mortgage for a few months. It's taken me 6 months to find another job (with a contract in the middle) so it will all come together eventually!
turbonut
Really sorry to hear that m8. My company's just been taken over, will be redundancies for sure, can understand where your coming from. But keep your dreams alive, keep your chin up and do stay in the club, if only for the entertainment value! good luck with whatever you decide to do, you'll have everyones support here on the forum lolx Linda
Kittyclaws
Thanks for all the support guys (and girl). It will be a tough few months, but it is not the end of the world, it just means I will have to put my plans back a few years. Wife is worried sh#tless with her job, but I have a feeling she is getting worried over nothing (she tends to think the worse at times)
