wHIZz
Hi folks - about to start my ICE install but I'm a little apprehensive about disconnecing the battery and how that will afffect my TOAD 606i alarm system? - anything I need to be aware of? Probably a very easy one to answer for most of you Thanks wHIZz
supRo
Nope - Nothing to worry about! I have the same alarm and have disconnected the battery loadsa times!
Guru
Surely thats not good Ro. You're telling me if I get into your bonnet and remove the battery terminal your alarm won't go off? Not very secure. On my Clifford you'll be deaf in seconds if you try that which is why I put it in valet mode while in storage.
Rob
That's the same with my alarm, knock the battery terminals off and silence abounds, plus I had to disconnect my bonnet sensor years ago as it was draining the battery. Weird thing is, a couple of times, on reconnection the alarm has sounded but mostly not.
