speddynille
Im installing a car alarm in my supra now and there are some wires that i dont find in the car! Door trigger wire Hood pin wire and parkinglights wire (negative) And I found this on the internet it is not to my alarm but it shows what colours the wires are in the supra. http://www.commandocaralarms.com/wiring/1994/Toyota/Supra Do you think its right? Im very thankful if somebody can help me with this and maybe get som pictures exactly where its located?
merckx
I made most of my connections in the drivers footwell fuse box, the one on the right when you remove the plastic trim. Door trigger , the blue connector athe very top left - green wire , normally +12v, goes to 0v when the door is opened. Hood pin wire , my J spec car didn't have this as it didn't have a factory fitted alarm , so I fitted my own bonnet switch. Parking lights, not sure. You really need a multi meter to check them out for yourself to make sure.

speddynille
ok, how does it looks like? any pics? Can you try to explain it, beacuse I dont got a clue how to do it.
merckx
The switch needs to be fixed to the bodywork of the car with a steel screw (red arrow) . Solder your alarm wire to the switch (blue arrow) You need to make a hole for the switch to fit into, position shown in pic. Adjust the length of the the switch by cutting it if necessary so the switch is pushed open when the bonnet closes.
