Ian W
can't beat a good dram sometimes, need to be in the mood for it though. there's a fair few labels that are nice mind you, don't have a favourite as such. (i do also like bourbon mind you)

Jake
Malt Whiskey is what to drink. Oh, you prefer Irish Whiskey! That surprises me, with you being a jock and all, I'd have thought you'd be a whisky man.
SUPRALOOPY
talisker/glenmorangie/laphorag spellings shit but the whiskey is good
Mike M
Lovely stuff, so much so I've got about 90 bottles hidden away. My fav is Port Ellen from Islay, getting rare now shut down in 83. Isle of Jura, Glen Turret, Edradour, Bruichladdie are all very nice easy drinking. Ardbeg, Lagavulin, laphroaig and Talisker are rich phenolic peaty malts. Glen Farclas, Balvenie and Aberlour are really nice speysiders. Everyones tastes are different tho, have fun trying experimenting. chilly
Spar!! I'm not a conisiour of fine whiskey, if i'm gettin pissed its all the same. Whilst at my mates house(he's a jock) he offered me a nip of really expensive 30 year old malt. he was horrified when i mixed it with diet coke!!
