nige
Hi guys, what size of disks do I need for my j-spec fitted with uk brakes front and rear? Any recommedations on what are good disks, cheers.
Jake
324mm rear and 323mm front. Stock Toyota ones are great. Avoid anything with drilled holes.
merckx
Steve Manley will probably give you the best price, he's a Toyota parts bloke from the Oxford area and he will send them in the post.
Wez
Check my sig for Steves details, cost me about £280 incl delivery for a complete set of discs. EDIT Its £280 not £
merckx
cost me about £450 incl delivery for a complete set of discs. That's just reminded me how ridiculously expensive they are. I've just bought a pair of front ventilated disks for my van , they're 300m dia. They cost me £37.60 for the pair , a good make too -QH

nige
Didnt know that thanks, are those vented/grooved disks any good.
Wez
Stock discs are vented but are plain. DBA discs are supposed to be good and they even offer a floating setup in stock sizes which I may try next.
Bobbeh
Didnt know that thanks, are those vented/grooved disks any good. For ultimate stopping power I think the plain discs are best, but for frequent braking applications (like track use) then grooved . drilled have their uses... ie they help clean the pad each time you brake so you have fresh pad to brake next time.
