Kev.O
I'm in the middle of removing my fuel cut controller from the existing ECU wiring. I plan to change the stock alarm at sometime in the future. So do I: 1 - Connect both wires that have been cut into by whoever installed the alarm. (This will also help if I have problems trying to start the car when I get the engine back in) 2 - Leave them and assume the new alarm will use the same wires (I spoke to a car alarm engineer and he said they don't usually cut into the ECU wires usually cut into the ignition)

merckx
I wouldn't necessarily assume your present alarm is wired correctly, it wasn't on mine. I fitted mine properly.
Kev.O
Thanks for the quick replies guys. I've soldered them together now. If I need to cut into the ECU wires, I can do it on my fields harness
