jackso11
Just went to wash my car and have discovered that what I thought was a load of bird mess all over my car is actually lots of splats of cement!! someone has done some work on the house nest to where I park my supra and splatted it all over!! Any ideas as to how I can get it off? its hard an looks like its been on there for a few days
Ric
try and get a warm jetwash to it, otherwise it would be scraping off with a credit card or somthing
jackso11
yeah, I don't really fancy scraping....its mixed with sand which doesn't sound good to me
JustGav
A clay bar is the best way to deal with this... Don't use a credit card, it will pull the lacquer out with it, and leave serious marks... Get a good clay bar, give the car a good soapy foamy wash, and then clay bar the car a few times.. Then wash and rinse again... Rinse and repeat.. Ric
if its just sand and concrete seriously a warm jet wash will desolve it and just wash it away
edge
Or if you havnt got a warm jet wash just some warm soapy water and plenty of patience.
peter richards
id go the warm water route first , as it is abrasive , yes the clay bar might grab some of it but, then you would have to be carefull not to pull over the immediate area . patience is whats needed ,
uk-rich
plenty of warm water, try and get it off with water pressure, rather than scraping/rubbing it
peter richards
did you show it to the nieghbours , take a pic of it in case it doesnt come off without scraping the paint , just to cover your arse
