Sharpie
For further information call Santa Pod on (01234) 782828, and make sure you view our RWYB Guides for essential info. Venue normally opens at 8.00am with track runs starting at 9:30am - 5pm, weather and track conditions dependant. Opening times vary for specialist events. Does the normal opening times apply for our event ? So, sign-on 9-9.30am ?[/QUOTE] Anyone ?
RedM
I don't think the numbers are that bad considering there is barely 2 1/2 weeks from the announcement of the date until the actual event. I'm sure plenty more people would love to have a go but have other arrangements (work?) that they can't get out of at short notice.
Supra ST Myster
i will be comming to this and will pay in a few mins, do want to do the run but a bit embarrassing have a multi colour car and a dented door! Would like to see how my single would do! altough i know its crap going round roundabouts
garetheves
Im possibly going to be there, car due back from the garage tomorrow so will see how its running then. Would be a bit put off though if it gets opened up to other clubs. The whole attraction to me is that it would be supra owners only.
Shovels
I've just paid up, so that's one more Supra on the strip.
michael
Anybody got any contacts with the MR2 and Celica clubs please? if you can point them in the direction of this thread and say any MR2 or Celica can join in. I offered to punt this to the MR2 folks in the Events Discussions forum when the idea first came about - we could have had them on standby, it's probably too short notice for a lot of people now but I'll ask the question - could do with a few people getting in times for TOTB qualifying. http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=66166 & http://forums.twobrutal.com/showthread.php?t=7813

It seemed at the time that we could get enough supras to make this supra only. Next year if we run this again I will make it Toyota Pod instead, more chance of it working that way. I wonder if we should punt it over to the toyotaownersclub? JB

michael
I'm just glad I didn't sign up on the original list, I'd be feeling guilty now... having said that if I had signed up I'd probably have paid and be getting ready for the event, otherwise why bother putting your name down? Anyway I'm sure it will be a great day out and it's a huge Supra turnout even if there are a few other Toyotas around, better to break even and share the strip than lose lots of money and you lot not get your JAE fun (I won't be there either - I notice a trend...). The chaps have worked hard on this, don't moan at them too much.

Whitesupraboy2
I still cant get over the number drop, 40 out of 128 people. Its very disappointing. But some other high power cars will be good to see for all and as long as they are friendly im sure it will be a good day.

Jezz
Good lad So amongst other things, i'm Dj-ing Friday night, bed at 4am, yard at 6am to pick up the motorhome, truck load of parts and Steve, Santa pod at 8am to set up, racing, sorting peoples parts orders, sorting the QSD show and shine, competing in the ENVY drag comp, clearing up, back to yard, Dj-ing again by 9pm. I know what i'm doing sunday.
