Im sure if you show some evidence like this post, your car reg and name etc that'll be enough information :) You going to run?

What a ridiculous statement ! Of course it's not compulsory  If an idea was suggested, 130 odd people said 'yeah that'd be great !' and then only 30 odd came up with the readies after I'd gone to the trouble of arranging and paying up front, I'd be pretty pissed off.

Welcome to the wonderful world of organising for other people.

I had exactly the same for the airfield day I arranged last year, and I only needed 10 people!!

I joined the club not long ago and im still waiting for my card to come through... :(

Will I be alright to bring a print off of my garage or something with pics of my car and reg, and user name apparent..?

It you don't have a card yet then go to Club Extras - Membership confirmation and print it off :)

Same here with Ring trips and track days, but at least I didnt require people to come.

I wish I could throw my car down the strip umpteen times but I have a chocolate gearbox and fear that under those conditions I might not make even the 60 foot mark after a few runs.

Chocolate gearbox? Was that an Easter gift? :D I'll bring a couple of gearbox's with me if you like? ;)

Go on Martin, if its going to go anywhere, it may as well be at Santa Pod :D

Agree. With Turbofit being 10 mins away from the pod, i'm sure they could manage a straight gearbox replacement in a couple of hours. I'll be bringing a truckload of parts anyway. I feel diffs, shafts and clutches may be popular next week. :D

My fellow co-sponsor is on the button. Drag days are good for business :p

Honestly Martin, give it a go, you'll not get round to it again and its a big rush. :)

Gaz.

Should be intresting to see how slow my standard uk spec with a 14 year old ic will be?

But it should give a good bench mark time to compare to when i go full bpu in a few months!! (just as exciting shame its not as cheap!!)

Cool Chris.. we can race if you want, Im in a standard UK6 too :)

While I'd love to do it (if only to show you how eating too many Greggs Sausage, bean and cheese pasties aids traction) I do worry that my gearbox will go kapow! and, whilst I'm sure there'd be much help available, I have a refurbed box ready to go in. I'd begrudge paying for something when I've got what I need here.

Of course, if someone near here could do it before Saturday.....

hardly seems worth waiting until tomorrow, but if we dont have 90% of the spaces filled by end of play tomorrow (Sunday) then I have to throw this out to other clubs or find other ways of making this event pay. As it stands We are over £2k down on the event and thats got the potential to put a stop to us doing JAE this year.

So those that are dilly dallying on paying if you can do so tomorrow that will help.

Thanks again to those who are supporting this event. It may be the first and last time we do this so lets make the most of it.
