veilsideTT
Whilst fitting my carbon dash kit i thought i might as well swap the auto rpm dial facia for the 6 speed one (to get rid of the Park, Drive, Neutral symbols etc) So i took the needle off and canged the facia but now the rpm counter is moving really slowly. Its at the correct reading (Well just about!) and the needle is free and not catching anything at all (ive made sure a about million times now) Have i fooked it? It went with a really big "snap" when i pulled the needle off. I even though id broken something then!
veilsideTT
£65 from my local dealer
Sheefa
£65 from my local dealer LOL! That's shocking! Have you checked the backing of the facia for any residue mate? Mine stuck a bit for a while but seems to have cleared now, although occassionally it won't drop to the needle stop but it'll hover on 300rpm! foodfreak
had something similar when fitting my stainless dials, turns out after much fidling about I had pushed the needle on the spindle too hard. Try pulling it off & re-fitting John
