Kitt Posted August 9, 2004 Share Posted August 9, 2004 The car is currently at the garage getting the RSR and full de-cat fitted - luckily they have given me a lovely white G-Reg Cavalier SRI, 400k on the clock and rusty as f*ck !! What a sound, started it up in the garage and couldn't even hear each other talk ! At idle it's a nice rumble then at roughly 2000 rpm your ears start to bleed, once you get past 3000 rpm the sound is as sweet as a TVR ...... I tried putting the muffler in so as not to completely p*ss off the neighbours, and after a bit of sanding to make removal easier it did reduce the ear-bleeding rumble, but then the bloody thing rattled slightly when the revs dropped - ah well, sod it, I tried my best but the muffler had to go Tomorrow morning I'll make a swift get away with "MANU" on so 2nd gear won't annoy the neighbours too much. ( I'm just so damn considerate ! ) Once I get on the main road however, beware small children and little old ladies cos the RSR is coming to get you Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
