Electrical or Standard? What part of the fitting do you want to know about? The Gauge in dash or engine bay? If interior, what size is it and where you wanna put it? Lots of different points that you have not clarified with the first post/statement. Ben..
tbourner
I had the same problem, was worried about lots of aspects, did it all myself eventually and it's pretty good. Internal mounting is the tricky part - where? Some say mount in the clock, others say they have trouble seeing it when really going for it (which is when you want to see it). I went for on the dash just to the right of the wheel and dials, looks good and the pipe goes down behind the a-pillar nicely.
sinbad
Pretty easy job. I'm no great mechanic but I managed it. Back of clock has all the wires you need. Rubber Grommet in front of pedals gets your pipe/wire into engine bay. Hardest bit is getting dash off (and thats easy)
tbourner
Hardest bit for me was getting the bloody pipe off the bottom of the pressure sensor in the engine bay!!!
merckx
Just fitted my boost gauge at the weekend. I bought a Defi-Link Meter boost gauge, it's an electronic gauge. It has to be connected to the Defi-Link Control Unit II. The gauge has two LEDs. One LED illuminates when the gauge pointer exceeds a warning value which is discretionary with the Control Unit II. The other LED illuminates when the gauge pointer exceeds past a maximum value. The two units cost about £270, well worth the money - good quality! By pressing the rec button on the control unit you can record 3 minutes of data, you can then pull off the road and press play and watch the gauge to see what happened to the boost. Defi Gauges If you have any specific questions just ask.
