Seb
Yesterday my friend from work brought in one of his father in law's watches for me to have a look at. It's a limited edition Breitling for Bentley Le Mans, built to commemorate the latter's victory at said racing circuit. 1000 steel pieces were produced, but it's no ordinary steel version. No, this is no. 23 of the 24 yellow gold pieces that were produced World wide, making it particularly rare and rather special. It's absolutely massive and incredibly heavy and while this particular model isn't to my tastes as I'm not really a gold person, you can't help but be impressed by it - it really is one hell of a watch. And how much would one set you back? £26k
Gaz Walker
I bet thats circa £20-25k I love that Gaz.

Gaz Walker
Gaz isn't far off - £26k Cool, I seen a full gold Crosswind up for £18k recently so it was a calculated guess Very nice, I'm not a fan of gold watches but that's rather special Yep - I'd be scared to walk round with that big sucker strapped to my wrist. I'm more of a polished stainless steel man myself Gaz.

Seb are you a watch repairer, if you are, could I pm you about my watch?

Jive
I'm afraid not mate, I'm just an enthusiast. Ah .. ok, could have been handy but hey ho onwards and upwards as they say
Ewen
Very nice, but far too blingy for my taste...I looked at the steel version before going for something else in the end, something a little simpler. I'm quite liking some from IWC at the moment, a brand that is slightly left of field but extremely well designed.
Seb
IWC do some really nice watches, good choice I say.

Jake
I wouldn't wear one of those if they were £26 let alone 26k It's so huge it looks daft.
michael
You need proper arms to carry off a Breitling
CJ
Whilst I appreciate the skill and complexity of a nice watch, there is no way I would spend 2k on a watch, never mind 26k!

michael
Proper = chubby ? Proper = Bigger than the pube-coated ones in the pictures above. Chubby / bigger / more muscular / increased girth - whatever, just bigger than "normal"
