Guest Bernie
Hi Guys Can anybody tell me what the propshaft end is that goes into the gearbox I'm looking for 21 Spline X 29mm is this a Supra size ? I have a Hewland Dog Gearbox that was fitted to RWD Supra Rally Car early 80s I have managed to get 2 new Paddle Clutch Plates but need to get propshaft made and wondered if the Supra shaft was 21 x 29. This gearbox is going into a RWD Corsa Maxi. Thanks for any help that you can give. Bernie email me at [email protected]

bondango
Yeah Bernie, the one listed is from a mk3 7mge and i dont think there is a difference in tailshaft splines if it was an auto (a340) so you could cut the Yoke off and weld it to your own prop. Any of that rallycar left in one peice ? lol Marty
Guest Bernie
Marty When I bought the car it had the Hewland Sequential 6 speed I sold that and I also taken the engine out and fitted to Gp4 Escort sold Escort and got engine back runs Jenvey and 8 injectors 249BHP car cost fortune when built has 9" Rear Diff Proflex car won Motoring News Tarmac Championship 2 litre class in 2005 so it is a fit car Hope this old hewland box does the job until my Tractive Sequential arrives in a few weeks time.
