Head Restraints - DO THEY MOVE???

Now Ive owned a GT4 and MR2, both had luverly seats and moving head restraints that moved fwds and bkwds which really allowed you to be supported upto the back of your head, especially on very long drives.

 

Now I cant move my head restraints.........solid-wont budge....................

 

 

Do the Supra head restraints move - if so how?????????

You can remove them using the instructions here:

It's possible to change their height but it would require cutting an additional notch in each metal peg.

Finding the buttons under the foam at the 'shoulders' of the seat is the trick.

 

But when you manage to locate them, they're easy to remove.

 

Cutting the notches takes about 2 minutes with an angle grinder! Just be careful not to cut too deep though.....
