hogmaw
I watched it this evening, for the first time, to see what the fuss is about. I am so glad the posh bankrupt wanky bloke got fired. He was a complete cock. David Brent, Alan Partridge and this bloke I know called James Trouble all rolled into one.
ivan
The only thing wrong was that the argumentative idiot didn't get fired too. If I were A.S. I'd have got rid of all 3!

Rob
Wife and I sat watching this, and when SAMS announced the task I immediately said "Dog Wardrobe". Pah, I walk that interview, but I always said I'd never work for Jews.

hogmaw
its all personal views Insults, slander, racism, hatred etc can all be personal views too, but that doesn't mean there is a place for them on a public message board
CJ
Insults, slander, racism, hatred etc can all be personal views too, but that doesn't mean there is a place for them on a public message board I agree. I thought the Jewish comment was out of order.
Rob
Jesus (oops) Have none of you ever seen "The Meaning of Life"? The bit with Eric Idle playing the cleaner, where she seems totally tolerant then makes a huge anti-semitic statement? Remember, a joke? Oh I forgot to add a smiley so people would "get it"

jaymdee
Back on topic. I am taking a Masters degree in Programme & Project Management and The Aprentice makes very good case study viewing, watching them struggle. I agree that that the mouthy bloke is a liability, but the guy who admitted to not getting involved had to go, and the project leader was a total cock, who after going bankrupt twice, failed to lead the group and there is NO WAY Alan Sugar would want him as an employee. The other guy could be moulded a bit more to reduce his problem tendancies.
Rob
"Tre" will definitely go out later on, but I could see a real, drag-yourself-up-by-your-bootstraps guy like Sugar getting really angry with the guy who didn't contribute at all. He said afterwards that the guy took a place from someone else in the 10,000 applicants.
terribleturner
As i always say being Intelligent doesn't mean you're clever. Plus there's too many wimps in the show, they need to grow some ball's. But what i can't understand is why if it's filmed in Canary Wharf, why did they go to a cafe in Acton after the result??
Rob
I think they use some fancy helicopter shots of "the city". Amstrad HQ seems to be in Essex, but it wouldn't surprise me if they had central London offices. It also wouldn't surprise me if the whole boardroom was a TV studio. ivan
It's a rented office for the boardroom scenes. Maybe most of the filming is done elsewhere (ie cheaper).
