Travelling north from London today to Phoenix in Watford and all of a sudden there's some SPECS cameras just before the roadworks south of Watford. With no warning signs!!! So be careful when approaching this area, don't let them catch you out

No signs!!! i've been through the ones on the M25 at 90+ on average from the A127 to M11 turning (there is 3 of them) didn't realise till the last.

Saw them when heading to Sevenoaks coming back at night no light so couldn;t see them very well was looking out for the signs and there wasn't any.

I await to see what happens now, no traffic so was inside lane past all of them

I doubt they are active. The ones on the A14 in Camerashire, still have bags over them. The signs are up, the old cameras are gone. Definitely not active. But 3 sets in 8 miles is ridiculous. The only cars they will catch will be very early morning or very late at night, the rest of the time the A14 is like a car park. The spin is traffic will flow more smoothly as the speed limit will be adhered to. Total bollocks, it would be a luxury to drive at 70 on the bloody road. With the old cameras people would slam on the anchors as they passed a camera, even when they are doing 10 or more mph below the limit.

The only safe way to test the change lanes theory would be having a friend from abroad staying at your address who drove a hire car through the cameras at silly speeds and changing lanes.
