cheekymonkey
Hi All My brother phoned me today saying he'd found a local-ish place for us to get the skyline mapped as we managed to reset the SAFCII on it the other day. Anyone able to recommend them? Do they know their stuff? More to the point would you trust them with your Supra How much should we be looking at for a dyno and re-map? Lucifer
Trust them with my life. Dave Griffiths is one of the Best mappers in the Country (and yes I dont say that lightly). Jason Billet used to build WRC engines for Toyota so - YES . Just go and see them and have an ask,
cheekymonkey
Excellent. I did search for them on the forums, just got a load of threads about people losing money somewhere or other. I have read enough to realise now that's nothing to do with Interpro though *grin* Cheers

mattanna
Hello mate i was at interpro today when your brother called re the skyline, all i can say is that Dave who does the maping is second to none, to the point that even clubs like isle of wight rs turbo owners drive all the way there to have there dynos done and are having full rr day there; i know on this site we may scoff at rs turbos but a lot of these boys are running bigger bhp than a supra in a much lighter car(i still would not have one though), defo get up there he will not be dissappointed:)

Homer
Be careful mate, they have a bad reputation with most owners clubs. Have a search of the two main skyline OC's and you'll see what I mean. Lucifer used to be associated with them.... hence his rather blinkered view.

Id still bet my mortgage's that they do a great job.
Jake
Anyone able to recommend them? Do they know their stuff? More to the point would you trust them with your Supra I would suggest doing some more homework before taking a car to them. They do have a bit of a reputation. I don't honestly know whether it's justified but I've heard some less than great stories about them.
cheekymonkey
Interesting to see views at each end of the spectrum but nothing in between! Perhaps it depends on which guy actually does the work there? I could then ask the other question - are there any tuners that you guys would especially recommend in the south or south west? - Anyone tried Powerstation in Glos? Lucifer
POwerstation are also Extremly good tuners. Veyr good Setup, Both Rich and Dirk know their stuff, but not so much SUpra Exposure.
cheekymonkey
Do some searchs on various forums. Yeah, I have been. Seems like a gamble wherever you go really, like most things. Was hoping to find somewhere that can do my Skyline and Supra but a lot of places seem to specialise in one type only, IE Norris for Evo, Powerstation for Scooby. Lucifer
Interpro are extremly good with Supra's. Ask on here if anyone has had a direct bad experience (no, not if thier mate down the pub said... blah blah). Dave is also very good with the Skyline range, and has produced some big power ones. But if you lookign for the bet Skyline tuner then Rising sun are about the best.
cheekymonkey
But if you lookign for the bet Skyline tuner then Rising sun are about the best. That was weird - just found their name on the Skyline OC and searched here - first hit was the reply you must have made a few seconds earlier. They seem to be well rated and close by as well - will give them a call. Re Interpro - I would appreciate more comments, especially Supra related. Also Chris Wilson is doable from Wiltshire - he's the MAN for suspension etc isn't he? What about power tuning?

When I pick up my Supe I'll be needing somewhere to take it to for an appraisal and service to give it a clean bill of health for future BPU etc, I want to run relatively stock for a while
