Starlet SR - Arrived Yesterday.

I really like that.

 

The people who run the chinese restaurant near where I live have one that looks exactly the same as yours...the only thing that put me off theirs, was the seats. They have pictures of little teddy bears on...what's that all about?????

No, just a dodgey pattern ill get some pics up of the inside....

Well done mate, awsome for a first car.

 

How did it go finding suitable insurance? (i remember the thread where you were asking about insurance for starlets etc)

 

I used to have a starlet, it was my 2nd car and I was 18, nippy little things and good round the corners :)

Yeah its a nice car, goes well too :), the insurance isn't to bad, took gaz walkers advice which workerd well (cheers for that gaz :thumbs: )i have gone with adrian flux.... paying just over 1000..

 

Was yours an 'sr' or a 'sportif' ?

Excellent matey. Thats a great first car, you'll have loads of fun in that and many memories in later life.

 

Plus if you get bored just to a Glanza engine swap. We do lots of parts for these so if you do need anything, give me a shout :D

Not a bad price on the insurance :) I think I paid around £1200 when 18 years old!

 

Mine was a sportif in the light blue colour so didn't have the luxuries such as electric windows, rev counter and central locking, but was still a bundle of fun :)

Yeah its really nice and a good little car, do you do any parts for an 'sr' .....need an induction kit :)
