AlanM
Nope, has not turned out that way in Scotland, sometimes have to go through a smoke screen to get in to the pubs but most now have an area out the back where you can smoke if you want. Eyes in particular feel the benifit in the pubs now

jamesmark
Has been in force in Scotland since way back last year, all the panic and hype that companies going out of business is a load of nonsense, it has actually increased business in some areas. Alcohol sales have dropped appx 30% iirc but food sales and the amount of pubs starting to sell food has increased quite a bit.

Lucifer
good point , as its cheaper now to eat out than cook at home . and no bloody dishes to wash I know I was looking at that the other day. I did it quite in depth due to my current situation, adn for two of us, it is. But it depends on what you eat at home.
neil tt
I gave up 4 months ago om my 40th birthday, best thing I have ever done. I just can't get over how much people smell who smoke, and that includes my wife. I go to a pub that is non smoking and have done for about a year, and its a pleasent place to drink even if you smoke:d
