edge
Not sure on disc changer but some cd drives have a small hole which a long pin can be pushed in and that can open it. Worth having a look. Is there no way of hooking up a temp 12v supply to it?
heckler
my last JVC and Sony autochangers needed power to eject the CD's - I assume alpine would be the same

hiten55
from the power lead, put +ve on the +ve of the battery, and the -ve on the (take a guess...) did this on my old pioneer so you should be ok. unless it takes power from the bus lead that is..... If you cant do this, there should be a pinhole somewhere on it..... EDIT: re-read the post - sorry, why dont you have power?

hiten55
you only need a battery, or even a battery charger to be honest

DaveK
This isn't very useful because you're so far away - but I have an Alpine multi-changer in the 964. If you were local you could plug it into mine and eject the cartridge. But of course, you're not.
