chilly
Who said the infantry aren't thick. I like the way they still keep jumpin in even though they know they will get stuck.
Mike_Mac
That's what happens when the Army try Amphibious Ops!! For your info that was 42 Regt Royal Artillery's Amphibious Trials Team near Umm Quasr a few years back. And for anyone trying to make a come-back against the Royal Marines I'll just let that video do my talking for me. ... Just kidding Army guys - we all love you really!! Lewis
... Just kidding Army guys - we all love you really!! Since when? We always said they were the guys too thick to get into a proper branch of the armed forces......we were a bit harsh though ...probably

Step forward the RAF!! Now waiting for Chilly and Sheefa to wade in.

The army just kept the bullets away from us.....yeah - I guess everyone has a use

I think only the Royal Artillery would try to land troops off a boat with such a high freeboard - Just try doing a covert landing when you've got to drop 3 feet into the water, or try to get back on-board when you're waist deep!!! AndyT
42 commando out of Plymouth. S'right. Gutted to find out it was our guys though. Didn't get this on site with Ghurka's. The best. If you can, contribute a fiver to their pension fund please. Appreciated. Sorry if the rules were broken. Feel strongly about the way these guys were treated.
