Chewie
I use Solidworks or ProE for kitchen and extension modelling. It's about £3000 per workstation. LOL!

CJ
Col, if you want a kitchen for yaself i can get them very cheap, you can use my howdens trade account if you you see anything you like there;) Many thanks for the offer old chap but I already have the kitchen as my son works at B&Q on the weekends and gets 20% off even sale items. I wanted the program to show my dear old mum what it was going to look like - It is for her new flat.
Millsy
If you go into MFI you could get them to design you one up then just take the print out and say 'I'll think about it'. To be fair the Ikea disc was pretty good at showing what the room will look like and as most units are standard sizes it should work fine. michael
B&Q do a design service too, I'm guessing CJ wants to have a play himself though
colsoop
Most of the kitchen suppliers have freeware software for you to use i believe Ikea have something of that type available as well.
osso
CJ use the B&Q online kitchen designer, their units are of a standard dimensions, and you can quickly get an idea what your kitchen will look like. but for god stake just dont order a kitchen from there! Jake
I use some software called 20-20 for kitchen planning. See this thread for an example of what it can do : http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=70816
CJ
B&Q do a design service too, I'm guessing CJ wants to have a play himself though Correct young man As I said, I have already bought the units through my son who works weekends at B&Q. Unfortunately, the chap who normally does the kitchen design was not available yesterday so I was after some software to show my Mum what the kitchen will look like once installed.
