veilsideTT
I currently have two defi gauges on my drivers side (RHD) Boost and Oil Pressure. Soon i will be having an AVCR and SAFCII fitted and will be running around 1.2 - 1.3bar. I Have a 3row and full decat. I think i will be needing a EGT gauge and one other to fill the empty hole, but i only like them mounted on the A pillar. So, where can i get the Greddy A Pillar 2X60mm pod for the LEFT hand side of the car? Also, What other gauge should i go with? Oil Temp or Fuel Pressure? Cheers Scott. Matt Harwood
TBH, I think both are fairly useful. probably Oil temps, if you do a lot of hard driving. Although, I really want in-car fuel pressure myself after recent events. Ever thought about an AFR guage? - Possibly more important than EGT? veilsideTT
Will my Apexi SAFCII give me a AFR reading???
Matt Harwood
No. It'll give you the amount of air flow correction it's doing, but that doesn't really tell you much.
veilsideTT
hummmmm, I dont do much hard driving to be honest. I would like the idea of knowing when my oil is fully warmed up! As using the oil pressure gauge is a not really the best way of knowing! Ie, 6 bar = cold, 1bar = nice and hot! Would i need to be worring about fuel pressure and AFR's if im only going to 1.2 - 1.3bar on a UK car? I was sorta hoping the general concensus would be Oil Temp and EGT! Anyone know about the Left hand side Greddy A pillar pod? Scott
albundy68
could you not import a US or euro pod for LHD supes??? or are the A pillars different on passenger side to drivers??? Either way they arent gonna be that easy to glance at, way over there, if you got a passenger air bag mounting you could fit EGT OT and AFR in it, and they look effin class IMHO. veilsideTT
Im not a fan of the airbag pods TBH. Ive sat in the passenger side of my car and the gauges are clearly visible from there so will be the same the other way round. Think i will have to talk to some of our tuners to see what they have.
