I'll be honest with you, I love his music, I do, I'm a Michael Bolton fan. For my money, I don't know if it gets any better than when he sings "When a Man Loves a Woman".

I am not sure if you are taking the piss or not ;) but I think the guy has a great voice. I saw him at the NEC years ago and he was superb. :)

Hehe good film that, wasnt that one of the Bobs quotes? :D
Yeah :)

This is my favourite Michael Bolton bit:

Michael Bolton: Yeah, well at least your name isn't Michael Bolton.

Samir: You know there's nothing wrong with that name.

Michael Bolton: There was nothing wrong with it... until I was about 12 years old and that no-talent ass clown became famous and started winning Grammys.

Samir: Hmm... well why don't you just go by Mike instead of Michael?

Michael Bolton: No way. Why should I change? He's the one who sucks.

Metallica - Nothing Else Matters........ Metalhead at heart... f*** it, i love it all.... :)

Rather depressingly that is my funeral track. Vicki has strict instructions!!

There is also a song called Zoe Jane by Staind that reminds me of my relationship with my 12 year old daughter!! It's a long story but we are now speaking and she is staying with us tonight for the first time since Christmas.....

Brilliant track. Hard to watch the video though. :(

I know what you mean. Didn't have the courage to watch the video again just now, so just found the link and paused it :(

I love those covers Johnny Cash did a few years ago. His version of Personal Jesus is fantastic.

I'm off to find that.

Saw them play this at Knebworth in the screaming hot summer of 76. They were behind the Stones and 10cc on the bill but blew everyone away that day. Classic tune - shame what happened to the band.

They still tour with Gary Rossington and Billy Powell remaining from the original band, and Ronnie van Zandt's brother Johnny doing the vocals.

There's a nice recent version of 'Simple Man'

IF there was ever a gig I wish I was at, thats it! You lucky lucky man.

Always with the Office Space quotes.

FWIW, funeral song would be 'Should I stay or should I go' by The Clash.

Don't have any songs that bring a lump to my throat.
