Chiefgroover
Nobody should ever judge Michael Bolton until they have heard his 1987 (i think) album "The Hunger", which is still excellent after all these years. BTW its mainly faster/rocky songs. One of the biggest and best voices in the music industry ever.

AndyT
First two that spring to mind are: Tom Petty - Learning To Fly And the legend Johnny Cash. Great cover, but hard to listen too Johnny Cash - Hurt http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AO9dbmJ_2zU Should listen to Hurt by Nine Inch Nails on the Downward Spiral album. Fantastic. edge
Sarah Mclachlan - In The Arms Of The Angle - A very sad memory for me. Luther Vandross - Dance With My Father - another bad one for me But all relate. Dj tiesto - adagio for strings- Nothing quite like the feeling of playing infront of thousands of people loving your set and begging for more. A feeling thats hard to describe but a fantastic one. Gaz Walker
"Stand by me" by Ben E King, always brings a tear to my eye. Love that song, very moving. Especially if you like the film, very appropriate - and the death of River Phoenix Gaz.

Millsy
Metallica - Nothing Else Matters........ Metalhead at heart... f*** it, i love it all.... I'm not a metalhead but that's one of my all time favourite songs. Scar tissue and Californication by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Castles Made of Sand by Jimi, Don't Speak by No Doubt, It's Been a While by Staind all make me stop what I'm doing. But then there are songs that move me that are weird just because they remind me of good times of whatever - Ice Cube 'It was a good day', Warren G 'Regulate' etc Music - a wonderful thing. MarkR
Rather depressingly that is my funeral track. Vicki has strict instructions!! There is also a song called Zoe Jane by Staind that reminds me of my relationship with my 12 year old daughter!! It's a long story but we are now speaking and she is staying with us tonight for the first time since Christmas..... H. Not depressing... beautiful
JustGav
Two tracks for me in particular... Iris - Goo goo dolls - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SsK90GWBVLY and While the earth sleeps - Peter Gabriel. - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=poHm9C-Km8E (It was her favourite track) They remind me of a female friend I lost when she was 18 in a bike accident...
