Wazz72
How much did you spend on polish? From the pics before It looked like it needed dipping in ACID. Youve done a good Job.

SUPRALOOPY
that took about an hour.. he's an attention seeker..pay him no attention..LOL
DamanC
Yup, Daves right! http://profilejewels.net/grafix/specialties/General/attention_whore3.jpg Took me a couple of hours tbh. Just used a polish similar to Autosol (sp) called 'peek' or something, cost just a few quid. My house mate brought a mop over so i went into power tool mode. The main piping came up well too but i coudlnt be arsed to do that bit I wish i had the snaps of what it looked like before so i could show the change. Gonna try and get it put on tomorrow. Project subtle is no longer going to be subtle.

dangerous brain
You need polishing mops really to shift hardcore crap. That said I used the kit I bought from ebay to polish up my inlet manifold and a set of Uk brake calipers (cast iron btw and a total bastard) and they came up an absolute treat. You can apparently use them to polish up stainless sinks and everything huh wtf???
supra steveo
i wonder if i can find some of that over here in Germany

DamanC
You need a polishing head. Same kind that you polish paint with, well, thats what i used any way

SupraAyf
..................and you put it on your living room carpet too. If I did that then the missus would kill me; simple as that! You've done a cracking job though;)

Matt H
wow well done Daman that looks like a pro job! need to do it to mine too as its a few years old now. Can you give me more details on your technique / products used? Ta Matt
markymark
Looking good Damon, now I will let you do mine:d
DamanC
The house is rented, hence why its on the livingroom floor Matt - One mop with a polishing head + half a tube of peek. Smear peek over the parts you want to bring up and then fire up the mop and rub the peek off. That easy
