Well im currently 7 wks into my Diet for my Bodybulding comp on May 5th.

tipping the scales at 12/8 the now, should get down to just below 12. Iv got 5 wks left, and im craving pizza, beer, kebabs, you name i want it.

Im using Glutamine, Vit C, Protein, Amino Acids, Vit A,B,C, Fish oil Concentrate, and Milk Thistle.

I stopped using Creatine 7 wks ago as it holds water, but yea its really good stuff and does make a differance.

Could murder a beer just now.

Aren't there medical questions surrounding Creatine?

I'd love to get seriously into working out again but it's a lot of commitment and being rather tall I find I have to work even harder than most...

I could never reduce my diet enough to get any definition in my muscles :) love my takeaways too much...

Since I got together with my gf 2 yrs ago I've stopped all exercise...

I used to Cycle 14 miles to and from work every day and do 2-3 hours in the gym at least 4 times a week... To say my body's changed is an understatement, and to be honest, buying the Sup hasn't helped :p

I'd love to get fit again but really have gotten stuck in a rather comfortable zone...

I've only used creatine once before but I've been thinking about getting some more.

Just getting more info on google, here's a quote from a BBC site that I found. :D

The supplement is also notorious for creating an unpleasant odour in the vicinity of the taker.

Gawd I know that feeling man. I wasn't ever into building but i was a rather athletic individual, running lots and lots of miles at a time. Now I am hard pushed to shift off the sofa. Its embarrassing because I really want to do some excercise. I wouldn't mind but I am sat right now next to a grands worth of crosstrainer machine in my lounge that is currently storing washing thats on the dry. I don't need supplements I need sodding motivation :(

There are a couple of types of creatine, the lower strength loading stuff, creatine monhydrate.

Then there is creatine ethyl ester this stuff is better (in my view) due to not needing a loading phase to start doing its thing.

It does however taste hideous so needs mixing with oj or something before drinking.

At the moment i use creatine EE, glutamine and tribulus terrestris as well as glucosamine, although iam going back to ZMA as Tribulus is giving undesirable effects :D

If you are doing lots of strength work (heavy weights small no of reps) consider glucosamine as well for your joints.

Be sure you don't rattle after taking that lot :D

I get my supplies from http://www.myprotein.co.uk

Creatine is fine as its a naturally occuring substance in the body anyway - taking a supplement just allows to work a bit harder for a bit longer - you do need to increase your water intake though if you're not used to drinking a lot. I use Protein shakes, N.O. Xplode before workouts and Nitrix tablets (creatine and N.O.) (currently finished first 12 weeks, now on 4 week lay-off with them before phase 2). All good!

Sorry for the thread resurrection, but what undesirable effects?

I've only had good effects..... such as women won't leave me alone. No, honest... no bull!

It started a few months back a few weeks after starting taking it.

For example the pic below (a 23 year old dancer on cruise ships, friend of a friend). And most recently the most gorgeous 22 year old Russian student leader at the local language school (sorry, no pics).

Is this normal?

I can't say i noticed that sort of effect, although i wish i had :p.

I just had strange dreams and a desire to shag everything all the time :D although the second symptom is probably normal ;)
