Kitt
A few months ago I started a thread about an offside creak at low speed - after lots of replies I took the car to Toyota who tightened up every bolt under the car as suggested ..... still the creak continued ..... As a last resort I bought some new KYB front shocks and at last the creak disappeared I was so happy ..... 1 month later and the bloody creak is back again !! How can this be, it was definitely the front shock, but why would it re-occur ?? Please help, it's doing my head in

Barney
Might be worth checking the tightness of all the bolts on your new suspension, maybe just a simple case of something having worked loose. Hope you get it sorted anyway:thumbs: Another thought, you could try spraying WD40 on all the bushes at the front of the car, sometimes they bebefit from lubricating. Kitt
Thanks for the replies and I can comment as follows :- 1. Fortunately I don't suffer from fat bas*ard syndrome so that rules that one out ! 2. I'll have a word with my local garage when they fit the RSR and de-cat pipes - to be honest though, once the exhaust is fitted I doubt I'll hear any squeak ever again !!
