Kopite
Well it's 3:45am and I should be asleep ready for work, but noooo, I'm emptying bucket fulls of leaking water from a clogged pipe that is leaking through the roof into my living room. Turns out one of the housemates blocked a toilet a couple of weeks ago... didn't think anything of it and kept using it with the water rising to the top He's away at the min, he's getting a pasting when he's back!!! Got to wait for British Gas to ring in the morning, one of their blokes will be popping round after 9... which is when i'm meant to be at work!! Argh!!! Havard
What?? Somebody blocked the bog and the the backflow is coming through your roof?? ## Surely if it was the bog that was blocked, the water would overflow the toilets first as it is low than the top of your soil stack. Sounds like the pipe has broken as opposed to blocked. H.

Kopite
Dyno rod did the job, great service under my British Gas plan. He was confused about what had actually happened too, no leaks in the bathroom at all, toilet deffo not overflowed. I'm scared to think what's above that ceiling now....
