RobSheffield
Be sure to pull the carpet all the way back,. or lift it to look quite far back under. My aftermarket ecu was located near the seat mount point.

Nic
i believe the electronic ignition is known as the ecu? Jazz the ECU (engine control unit) is the engine computer.
grahamc
is it like a little black box when u rip the carpet from the passender side? Its has a black plastic cover over the ECU, which is a small silver box.
jazz1
basically i have this gauge and the green wires says it has to be connected to the electronic ignistion so that must be the ecu right? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=104046

stevie_b
I'm not sure mate. I *think* electronic ignition and ECU don't usually mean the same thing, although I could be wrong. The ECU has many wires going in/ coming out of it, so if it is the ECU you need to plug it into, you'd need to find out exactly which wire you need to tap into. What's the gauge do? That should help in figuring out where to connect it to.

letmeshowyou
Jazz, don't do it! If you must, I suggest paying someone to do it - if you're not sure what you're doing you could make yourself quite a mess!
