Pete
Whilst (STILL) trying to get my army of CDs onto iTunes I've realised I've not got N-Joi Papillon. I know I had it. So where is it? It's not with my other NJoi CDs. Where did I last see it? About 8 years ago probably. Is it in the loft? Shall I go and look now? It was a cardboard single, so maybe it slipped down the back of somewhere? Or got mixed up? No go to bed....did I lend it a mate? Stu was always borrowing discs...but he always gave them back...didn't he? Argh! I hate forgetting who I've lent what to or where CDs have mysteriously disappeared to. Especially rare stuff. johnnyknox
I had a shed load of CDs stolen from my car once. Would rather them have taken the car and leave the CDs

Jake
Years ago, some bastard broke into my car and stole all my CDs apart from the The Smiths and Billy Bragg ones. Everyone's a critic

MrHanky
What annoys me even more is when you lose a CD, look everywhere for it, decide to buy it again as its a favourite and then find the original. Still at least I haven't lost my an album 3 times like Vicki Rubbish I tell you:d Mark
JustGav
This is why I use CDRs... If I have any originals, they get copied and the originals are put on the shelf..
SupraStar 3000
I remember a few years ago a mate brough around a new girlfriend. The next few days I noticed a some CDs missing. Found the cases but not the CDs. Then a few weeks later this mate told me he had dumped his girlfriend as he suspected she was into drugs and stealing from him. It then dawned on me. Spent so long looking for those damn CDs too. Never did tell him to aviod embarrassment on both sides.
Pete
Did you really lose it Pete or your marbles lol Probably just my marbles. I remember loosing 2CD's Guns N Roses Use your illusions 1 & 2 eventually turned up INSIDE the HiFi!!!!. How did you find them there? I guess you heard the rattling. It's even worse when you have the empty case but no CD! That way you really know you've lost it, and not just forgotten that you never had it in the first place. If you see what I mean. This is why I use CDRs... If I have any originals, they get copied and the originals are put on the shelf.. This is why I'm sticking them all on the IPod and putting them into storage.. Jake - I had similar happen to me, but luckily it was just copied tapes. Still - it was stuff I couldn't get back. Luckily a passing plod caught them and found some of the tapes dumped in a garden and got my tape deck back as well. Amazing!
