Guest SteveW's Carole
Anyone got other cars insured with Sky ?? How do they compare with 'cheaper'/lower group cars ?? Do they still cover Parts (wheels/zorst/etc) ?? How are Sky with Younger Drivers ? Either as Sole Driver or as Additional on Supras ? ? ?? ? ? ? JamesG
Yes, Sky insure my elise. They covered my modifications, and they mirrored my NCB from the supra.
Chris and Alana
I find elephant alot cheaper than sky. This time round sky's quote was £1600 fully comp but elephants was £1180 Im 23 with 1years no claims. I was 22 when I got both quotes. Elephant let you insure your mods online now aswel so no more ringing people to get a quote or take out a policy, they have made it very easy to use and you can fiddle with the info as long as you want to get the price down very happy with them. charlton
Elephant let you insure your mods online now aswel They dont do agreed value and will not cover the modifications - In the event of a claim they will return your car to its standard specification - not good in my eyes!! Plus online is a 10 month policy which may not be accepted as a full year claims by other insurers

Supragal
I almost did they mirrored my NCB but in the end decided to put it in Jons name so he can get some NCB of his own.

But you can get a 12 month policy online you have a choice between 10 and 12 and how much excess you pay. Now if Sky was maybe £50 more or even better if they would be so kind to match the genuine quote from elephant (which you would expect a club insurer to do in my opinion as they probably get alot of money from here) then I would gladly take a policy out with sky but not for £400 more. Sky matched a 10 month policy for me - I was quoted £1300 something for 10months with an identical policy to Elephants. They worked out what it would be for 12 months and matched it - they dropped their original price by over £
Chris and Alana
They wouldnt do that when I asked or like I said I would have taken out thier policy for the extra benefits you mentioned eirlier. But they said thats the best they could do and for £400 more it wasnt worth it for me. I might try them next time but its not until October.
