Paul Whiffin
Fitted this lot on a Supra today, KAD 378mm, yes 378mm discs with 6 pot calipers, this thing stops now, the difference between these and UK brakes that were on it is like night and day. Check out the size of these babies! Also at the same time we fitted Advan RS in 9x19 and 10x19, very sexy rims and bloody lightweight as well. Enjoy the pics. http://www.whifbitz.co.uk/images/forum pics/davesupra/bigdisc.jpg UK Spec front brakes http://www.whifbitz.co.uk/images/forum pics/davesupra/stdbrakes.jpg KAD 378mm 6 pots http://www.whifbitz.co.uk/images/forum pics/davesupra/378mmbrakes.jpg The car before http://www.whifbitz.co.uk/images/forum pics/davesupra/beforefront.jpg http://www.whifbitz.co.uk/images/forum pics/davesupra/before.jpg The car after http://www.whifbitz.co.uk/images/forum pics/davesupra/afterfront.jpg http://www.whifbitz.co.uk/images/forum pics/davesupra/afterrear.jpg http://www.whifbitz.co.uk/images/forum pics/davesupra/afterrear2.jpg

grahamc
nice...like the wheels!! Edit: as matter of interest, what sort of cost is that brake conversion and wheels for that matter?
Paul Whiffin
The 378mm are £1689 + VAT, I have them on my car along with 6 pot rears as well, the brakes are the one of the best things I've ever done to my car, gotta have good brakes to stop the thing! Paul Whiffin
How about these we fitted to a Supra a couple of weeks ago? Front 356mm and rear 6 pot calipers on UK spec http://www.whifbitz.co.uk/images/forum pics/linton/frontkad.jpg http://www.whifbitz.co.uk/images/forum pics/linton/frontkad2.jpg http://www.whifbitz.co.uk/images/forum pics/linton/rearkad.jpg
Paul Whiffin
Paul, how do the KADs compare to something like the AP Racing setup or the Brembo setup? I personally think they feel better, seem to have a better bite to me, can depend on pad compound though. Never tried the AP's or Brembo's on the track though, that where you really notice it. MattC
Looks sweet to me.. I'd buy them simply because my uk brakes look small on 19" rims... I think they would fill them up nicely

Pot
My J-Specs make me feel so inferior... They're fantastic... I need those in my life!!!...
Gazboy
How much are new rotors, and what's the wear rate like on them? How much would a set of pads cost for these? It's kind of a hidden cost no-one really thinks about, it's why Jaguar stopped selling S-TypeR's with brembos and went back to *huge* twin pot sliders. Jake
I've got the KAD 356mm fronts and they are very good. They make a weird noise if you touch the brakes at 160mph though. Paul, where can I get replacement pads? What type/model are they? Thanks
Gamer
I have the 356mm 6 pots and rear 6 pots on mine, no complaints at all. Still using the same set of pads from when they were installed about 1 year ago. Mind you my car was not a daily driver.
